At Timberwood Farm, we offer for sale several items that are a by-product of the dual-purpose nature of the heritage goats, pigs, and sheep that we raise. We understand that having quality, all natural products is important, which is why we won't sell anything that we don't already use ourselves.
The meat comes from our pasture raised Clun Forest lambs and our pasture raised Berkshire hogs. The lambs are on pasture from the time they are born until the time they go to the butcher, and we practice rotational grazing, so they have a steady supply of lush pasture grass. The pigs are born and raised in woodland pastures, so they are free to forage and root around to their heart’s content. The pig’s diet is supplemented with milk from our goats, eggs from our chickens, and fruits & vegetables from our garden. It is pork the “way it used to taste”. Since we also eat what we produce, we ensure that we don't use "sludge" or herbicides on our pastures, that our meat never has added hormones, and it is antibiotic free.
The Fiber comes from our own flock of Clun Forest sheep.
The lotion, soap, lip balms, and other skin care products are hand crafted on the farm using only natural ingredients, including the milk from our own herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats.
PLEASE NOTE: The lamb, pork, and eggs are available for local pick-up ONLY. The lotions, soaps, and fiber are all available to be shipped or for local pick-up.
